Developing a regeneration strategy

Urban Hope is an award winning regeneration company owned by Liverpool Hope University. Its staff are currently on a two year secondment to Chester and District Housing Trust.

The workshop will explore a number of innovatory regeneration initiatives which will include a skills exchange scheme with construction workers in Uganda and the building of a library, the development of an asset management company as part of a neighbourhood management pathfinder succession strategy and the utilisation of a land bank as a mechanism for generating funds to cross subsidise regeneration initiatives in Chester.

The workshop will explore with participating delegates the future role of registered social landlords in regeneration activity.
