The aim of this session is to share details of the innovative solutions that were used to solve problems in void performance to allow you to take them back to your own organisations and challenge the processes there.
The session draws on the experience of Southern HG’s recent review of void performance, which resulted in an improvement in the performance of average turnaround times from 42 days down to 9 in less than 3 months. The session will explain the process mapping, resident involvement and the joint working between the maintenance, housing management and contractors that led to this dramatic and lasting improvement. It will help you to ensure that residents are at the heart of your service delivery improvements, and ensure efficiency savings in terms of reducing duplication and maximising income.
