Large scale offsite manufactured systems, including modular volumetric construction, offer significant benefits in terms of speed and quality of construction and are increasingly seen as key to boosting housing supply. In this presentation HTA Partner John Gray and Technical Author Richard Harral will discuss the benefits of modular construction for building owners and maintainers and how the development of a Publicly Available Specification (PAS) will assist in standardising offsite systems and support increased use of manufacturing in residential construction.
