2A Controlling the budget through a fixed price per property contract

On 1st April 2008 Bromford Group introduced a fixed price contract for day to day, emergency and void repairs.  For a single fixed price per asset per year Bromford had a contract covering “all repairs of whatever nature however caused”. For an additional fixed price we were also able to introduce the Annual Property Service, a proactive service to each home each year aimed at finding repairs before they occurred, and meeting our commitment to providing customers with homes that do not break down.

This presentation will examine the fixed price contract, its successes and things that would be done differently and the benefits of the Annual Property Service.
