April 2012 brought changes in the Regulation which has impacted on the social housing sector. Discussion is currently on-going and in the near future we may see updated requirements for the management of asbestos in domestic properties which will impact on NHMF members. 

By spring 2013 we will have clarity from the HSE in terms of the direction of the current guidance relating to handling asbestos. In this session, we will review the changes in 2012, and look forward to further proposed changes for 2013, and consider the impact of changes occurring in Europe.
