NHMF best practice awards application form

Applications must be submitted via the NHMF website by midday on Friday 25^th November 2011.

The deadline for applications has now passed. The application form is shown to give you some idea of what to expect should you wish to apply next year.

The client organisation that was best at meeting resident's needs in the provision of a maintenance service

Best DLO

The direct labour organisation providing the most innovative maintenance service

Best Contract

The best managed external contract for maintenance

Best use of IT

The best use of information technology for maintenance

Best innovation

The best innovation in the provision of a maintenance service. The Best Innovation award will go to the most innovative project shortlisted for any of the awards – it will not have a category of its own. So there will not be a separate shortlist for the most innovate project. The project that wins this award might be seen as the overall winner, and cannot then also win any other award.

Summary of the submission

Title of the submission (max 50 chars).
Brief description (must not exceed 150 words).
NB: This will be used to describe the project on the NHMF best practice website, so be as clear as possible.
Has the project been submitted for an award from any other body?
If so please identify the award, the approximate date of your submission, and whether you won or were shortlisted for it. This information will not be supplied to the judges until after the short listing is completed.

Award Ceremony

You will be informed whether you have been shortlisted by email on 6th January.

Those short-listed will be invited to send two people to the awards ceremony at the NHMF Maintenance Conference dinner. This is at the Holiday Inn in Stratford-upon-Avon on Tuesday 24th January 2012.

Your submission

The submission must be in an Adobe pdf document formatted to be printed on no more than 10 pages of A4. It may include graphics as well as text, providing the file size does not exceed 1 Megabyte.

The judges will rely on the information in the submitted document when short-listing the organisations.

In choosing the winners, the judges may, at their own discretion, refer to supplementary information available on a website, or may make their own enquiries. But please note that the judges will not accept any additional documentation unless they have specifically requested it.

By making the submission you give permission to the NHMF to make use of the material in the promotion of best practice in the maintenance of social housing.
