NHMF Best Practice Awards 2009

Applications must be submitted by midday on Friday 19th December.

Award Ceremony

You will be informed whether you have been shortlisted by email on 7th January.

Those short-listed will be invited to send two people to the awards ceremony at the NHMF Maintenance Conference dinner. This is at the Holiday Inn in Stratford-upon-Avon on Tuesday 27th January 2009.

We plan to run a workshop at the conference relating to each of the three awards, at which the three short-listed organisations will be invited to present what they do as an example of best practice (20 minutes each, plus questions). By this stage the judges will have made their decision on the winners but you will not know who has won.

Submission

The submission must be in an Adobe pdf document formatted to be printed on no more than 10 pages of A4.  It may include graphics as well as text, providing the file size does not exceed 1 Megabyte.

The judges will rely on the information in the submitted document when short-listing the organisations.

In choosing the winners, the judges may, at their own discretion, refer to supplementary information available on a website, or may make their own enquiries. But please note that the judges will not accept any additional documentation unless they have specifically requested it.

By making the submission you give permission to the NHMF to make use of the material in the promotion of best practice in the maintenance of social housing.
