This nomination form must be submitted by midday on Friday 22nd October 2010. The NHMF reserves the right to accept nominations after that date in exceptional circumstances and entirely at its own discretion.
The purpose of the nomination process is to assist the organisers in preparations for the judging stage, so that they know the number and scope of the submissions to expect in each award category.
The full application for the award must be submitted by midday on Friday 26th November 2010.
Short-listing will be completed by 17th December. The awards will be made at the NHMF Maintenance Conference dinner on 25th January 2011.
Organisations to be considered for the awards must be nominated by a social housing landlord such as a housing association, local authority housing department, and ALMO, or a housing co-operative. A social housing organisation may nominate themselves or any organisation that they work with.
You must obtain the consent of the organisation you are nominating.
A project can only be nominated for one NHMF award, and cannot be re-submitted in later years, or nominated in more than one award category. Which award are they nominated for?
Maintenance can be deemed to include major repair and improvements as well as day to day repairs and the provision of cyclical services. Relevant services can include anything relevant to the maintenance service, including the way it is managed and delivered, and the tools and information systems used.
This information will not be used in the short-listing process. It should enable the NHMF to identify the scope of the submissions so as to plan the short-listing and judging of the awards. You can amend it on the final submission.
Would you be interested in presenting the project at a workshop during the NHMF Conference?
