Tyron is Bid Director for VINCI Facilities and has close to 30 years' experience in the housing and construction sectors.

He has held senior client, consultant and main contractor roles (both operational and support services); and has always been interested in models for the procurement of works and services.

Tyron is a long term advocate of collaboration and alliancing. He has extensive experience of collaborative contracts published by the Association of Consultant Architects and by NEC. He understands the benefits of two-stage contracting; and of contractual models that manage risk and enable cost transparency. He was involved in early PPC2000 pilots delivered by London Borough of Camden (1999) and the first user of TPC2005 at Royal Borough of Greenwich (2002).

Tyron is a member of both the NHMF Contractor Forum and the Alliance Steering Group. He is a supporter of the key messaging in the ‘Construction Playbook’ and ‘Constructing the Gold Standard’ reports. He is in no doubt that the key recommendations in these reports can help embed the actions and behaviours needed to help us all navigate the key challenges impacting the construction sector as a whole.
