Neil is a chartered engineer with qualifications and experience in business management. His early career was in the management, design and supervision of major construction projects in the UK and overseas. He worked at DETR on the implementation of the Egan report and established the Dtis Construction Best Practice Programme and then the Collaborative Working Centre.  CWC are the specialist consultancy and training arm of Construction Excellence supporting clients and their supply chains during procurement and establishing behaviours and processes for successful long term collaborative frameworks that deliver major value improvements. CWC are currently working for over 50 clients in the civil, housing and property sectors.   Neil’s specialist knowledge includes managing organisational change for supply chain partnering including collaborative contracts, integrating design and construction processes and behaviour change.
