Rachael joined LRHA as Chief Executive on 1 June 2021, bringing over 13 years senior management experience in the housing sector. As a Chartered Member of the Chartered Institute of Housing, she began her housing career in Shropshire with a small specialist rural association; and more recently in Staffordshire with a mid-sized urban association. She gained experience in rural and urban business planning, housing policy, service delivery, resident engagement and resident satisfaction, housing management, community investment, finance, funding, risk management, assurance, legislation, governance and regulation. 

Rachael joined a talented, professional and committed team who have a steadfast commitment to serving their residents. Her aim is to build on their excellent achievements, working with her colleagues to invest in and support the staff and governing members to deliver great outcomes for their residents. 

Rachael is responsible for leading, shaping and developing the organisation, managing operational issues and ensuring that the strategic corporate objectives are translated from policy into practice. Ensuring the strong resident focus through highest quality services, coupled with the highest standards of performance in financial management, probity and people management.
