Mark Rooney

Group Account Director – Pace Networks

Mark Rooney, 47, has spent the past 20 years in the telecom and digital TV industry.

He has held senior sales roles with British Telecom and British Aerospace, and has headed up European operations for two US based companies – Terayon and Entone.  In 2001 he was appointed CEO of VDSL Systems Oy in Helsinki.  

As Group Account Director for Pace Networks he is driving the company’s efforts in developing new technologies that enable operators to grow their subscriber bases and increase ARPU by gaining new customers that were previously difficult to reach, either due to expense, legislation or other restrictions.

Mark has a BA and MA in law from Oxford University and is a qualified barrister.
