Setting the standards for repairs and maintenance

What are they?

NHMF offers a series of one day training courses to support both clients and contractors. The sessions are applicable to Property Services Directors, Asset Management Directors and members of their teams who are directly involved in or may be considering procuring or managing contracts under the M3NHF Schedule of Rates documentation and associated modules, incorporating the NHF form of contract. They are particularly valuable if Clients and their Contractors attend together.

We offer on site M3NHF Schedule of Rates training which is particularly aimed at Clients implementing a new contract and have large numbers of operatives to train.

In addition a new series of courses introducing the M3NHF Schedule of Rates and understanding it from an operational viewpoint began in Autumn 2012. Click here to find out more.

How can the M3NHF Schedule of Rates contract and specification of works be used with different procurement and pricing models?

May 22nd 2013

 – Friends House, London

Our speakers will present plenary and workshop sessions exploring how the M3NHF Schedule of Rates documentation and associated modules, incorporating the NHF form of contract, underpins different procurement models including Joint Ventures, Traditional Measured term contracts, Open Book, Partnering and wholly owned subsidiaries. All refreshments and lunch are included in this pleasant and easily accessible venue located opposite London Euston. The breaks in the programme provide an opportunity to discuss particular queries with the speakers and to share ideas with delegates who face the same challenges.

This course will cover:
  • Options for maintenance - from contracting to DLO to joint ventures to cost sharing groups
  • How can the M3NHF Schedule of Rates contract documentation be adapted for these scenarios
  • Different payment methods - price per property, planned work priced archetypes, target cost and cost reimbursement
  • What changes need to be made to M3NHF Schedule of Rates contract documents with these payment methods
