Dave has worked in the construction and maintenance industry for over 30 years.  Having overall responsibility for Gentoo Construction, which provides a wide range of services ranging from multi million pound construction developments to day to day repairs and maintenance.

Construction generally is a great contributor both positively and negatively to sustainability.

Gentoo Construction employs over 630 professional and fully skilled staff which is part of the Gentoo Group.  Dave is committed, as are the rest of his colleagues in Gentoo, in creating and developing best practice to ensure that there is a commercial balance between being competitive and having a social conscience.  People and the environment are a key strategic area high on Gentoo’s agenda and sustainability is an area which they take pride in the way they have started to tackle real issues in the building maintenance world with measurable outputs.
