Jane Nelson

Managing Director of Kier Islington Ltd.

Jane Nelson is the Managing Director of Kier Islington Ltd, a Joint Venture Company established in October 2000 between London Borough of Islington and the Kier Group to carry out the Authority’s Repair and Cleaning Services.

Jane is also the Managing Director of Kier Building Maintenance (Southern Region) which has long term Repairs Partnering Contracts with the London Boroughs of Greenwich and Ealing and many other Local Authorities and social landlords. Most recently she became the Managing Director of Kier Harlow, a joint venture between Kier and Harlow District Council carrying out building maintenance and street scene services.  She has worked in the field of building maintenance for some 20 years and holds a MSc in Construction Refurbishment Management from University College London.

In the last year, Jane was awarded the Construction Inspirational Leader Award at the inaugural WS Atkins Inspire Women Awards which recognise exceptional women working in the UK built environment sector.
