Paul Ciniglio

Sustainability and Innovation Manager for the Radian Group

Paul Ciniglio is employed as Sustainability and Innovation Manager for the Radian Group, of which Drum Housing Association are part. The main focus of his role is to reduce the environmental impact of the housing associations activities. This primarily relates to an existing housing stock of 15,000 units and a new build programme of up to 1,000 units per annum. He has worked in a variety of roles in the construction industry for 23 years.

He has a diploma and a first class Bachelor of Science honours degree in Building Surveying, a Master of Arts in Sustainable Development and is a member of the Institution of Environmental Scientists.

Paul sits on the Building Research Establishment’s ‘EcoHomes’ steering group and is a guest lecturer in sustainability at Kingston University. He has a particular interest in the role that renewable energy can play in helping to slow climate change. Paul’s leading approach resulted in Drum winning The Housing Corporation’s ‘Gold’ award for excellence in environmental sustainability in 2007, a SEREA renewable energy award in 2005 and being highly commended finalists for two years running in the Hampshire & IOW Sustainable Business Partnership awards.
