Qualifications for Housing Maintenance; Asset Management and Development

Recruitment and retention of people with the right skills is essential for the delivery of quality services.  Providing opportunities for staff to gain qualifications can overcome skills shortages, make individuals feel valued and provide career paths.

This workshop will look at a new range of qualifications that have been created specifically for the housing maintenance; asset management and development sectors by The Chartered Institute of Building (CIOB) and The Chartered Institute of Housing (CIH).  The focus of the session will be on barriers to staff development and how they can be overcome.
