How contractors can promote youth training

Chris will look at training schemes and how they can be best structured to serve the projects they are delivering. All too often training schemes are tacked onto major projects and they do not deliver real jobs to the young people they are targeted at. People from under represented communities and other minority groups are also unlikely to benefit from training schemes. The workshop will look at alternatives to traditional training schemes and also at some successful training projects undertaken by the Kinetics Group.
