There is great potential for achieving cost savings through shared service arrangements. The session looks at what arrangements are required for organisations entering into agreements to share maintenance services and how they can be used to achieve efficiencies and value for money. We will explore the current position under EU and UK procurement law resulting from recent decisions this summer and the distinction between "co-operation" and other forms of arrangement. The session will look at typical structures being used and the commercial issues commonly encountered.
