NHMF best practice awards 2024
General criteria
The awards are open to all social housing maintenance providers with projects completed in the United Kingdom and the Republic of Ireland between Friday 11 November 2022 and Wednesday 08 November 2023. The judging criteria are clearly articulated in the submission area.
How to enter
You must complete the registration application and submission forms by Wednesday 08 November 2023.
On the online registration and application form, you will find five awards. Choose the one that best fits your organisation and project.
Please refer to application form. You will see this once you complete the registration form. Please note the following guidelines when completing the online application form:
- 1450 total word limit with the word counts and scores shown per question
- 50 characters for the “Title of the submission”
- 100 words for the “Brief description”
- Upload 1 large logo, in JPEG or PNG format
- If you are submitting with a contractor, you will need 1x logo for each organisation, in JPEG or PNG format
- A 30s video is only required for all shortlisted applications. You don’t need to submit the video at the initial stage of the process. Once your project is confirmed shortlisted you will have 14 days to produce one. This video will be shown on screen during the awards night.

The title you give your entry and the name you use here for your organisation will determine how your entry is named in all promotional material.

Organisations select which category they wish to enter. Judges reserve the right to move a project if it appears to them that it would be better placed in another category.

Organisations can enter a maximum of two different projects, however, one project cannot be submitted by different participants or entered into more than one category.
Shortlist announcement
The shortlisted entries will be announced on the website on Friday 01 December 2023, and the awards will be presented at the NHMF Conference on Tuesday 23 January 2024.
