Simon Bamfield

Asset Investment Manager, Wolverhampton Homes

Simon has worked in the construction industry for almost thirty-years and has amassed a wealth of experience across reactive repairs, void works and capital works of building surveying, asset management, contract management and construction procurement.

He is an advocate of Partnering and Open Book Cost Management and has helped implement and embed these principles at Wolverhampton Homes, enabling significant efficiencies to be achieved on the Wolverhampton Decent Homes Programme.

Over the last few years, Simon has produced a Building Cost Model which identifies the investment required in the housing stock over the next thirty years and informs the short and medium term stock investment, through appraising a range of stock investment scenarios.
