Andrew Kingscott – Health and Safety Executive -

Andrew is the Principal Inspector leading HSE’s Public Administration Education & Volunteers Sector - (PAEV). PAEV lead on Engagement and Policy in respect of Local and Central Government, Education at all levels and Voluntary work across all sectors.

The PAEV team provide direction, advice and support to HSE’s operational teams in respect of standards and compliance with health and safety legislation across a range of matters including the management of asbestos in buildings.

Andrew joined HSE in 1990 and has spent most of his career securing improved standards, inspecting premises and investigating accidents across a wide range of industries including agriculture, construction, general manufacturing and services. He was promoted to Principal Inspector in 2007 and has led operational teams focussing on construction, and more recently covering a wider range of industries across 3 Counties in the South West of England.
