Ashley is the Policy and Practice Manager for the Chartered Institute of Housing in Scotland working on a range of issues across tenures. The role involves ensuring members’ views are reflected in responses to local and national consultations, developing briefings and practice materials to keep the sector up to date with the latest changes and working to influence national policy and legislation.

Ashley is a trustee of the Existing Homes Alliance Scotland which campaigns to reduce fuel poverty and carbon emissions through investment in existing homes and is vice chair of Hanover Housing Association.
