John has worked within construction and social housing for over 25 years and has considerable experience in developing effective asset management of large scale property portfolios.
He has successfully led sustainable construction reviews in organisations and is currently lead officer for the development of passive housing to existing stock within Orbit. He has developed a wide network within Canada and predominantly Europe which has led him to adopt and develop established working principles in tackling climate change and fuel poverty within the social housing sector. As Head of Asset Management within Orbit Heart of England he has set up key frameworks for the procurement of renewable technology and is a member of the Orbit Group's Sustainability group.
