Professor Mike Riley is the Director of the School of Built Environment and is Visiting Professor to the Building Surveying Department at University of Malaya. He has more than 20 years experience in building surveying practice and construction and property education. Mike is a consultant to several national organisations in the UK and has an established reputation with RICS internationally. He is the joint author of three text books in the field of construction technology and has published numerous academic papers in the areas of building pathology, property management and building performance appraisal.
