There is increasing interest in measuring the social impact of services provided by registered providers. But is this something that the maintenance department should concern themselves with or is it an obscure activity that has no place alongside the job of maintaining and repairing properties? The session will focus on answering this question and will be presented by Stephen Russell, Research Manager for Midland Heart. Stephen has spent the past few years developing Midland Heart’s approach to measuring impact which has included developing an in house cost-benefit tool and producing a sector guidance paper on measuring social impact.
