Conference Workshop 1c

Tuesday 26 January 2016 11.30

1C Contract administration: why bother?

Where does the balance lie between under and over "managing" a contract? Are our contracts over-complex, confrontational, not fit for our needs and too resource-demanding? Are we documenting what really happens, rather than what the contract says should be happening? Does a PPP/PPV contract simplify the administration?

This session addresses the main areas of administration and management in a contract and the processes that are needed to run a contract well. It focuses on the benefits of good contract administration and is complemented by the session on disputes which highlights the risks of not managing contracts well.
