We shall present our approach to managing homes based on the principles of ISO 55001, the international Standard for Asset Management.

• Completed a maturity assessment against the ISO requirements
• Are developing an integrated Strategic Asset Management Plan including initiatives that improve performance of the Asset Management System
• Built a whole lifecycle cost Decision Support Tool (DST) for all decisions from asset creation to disposal
• Are reviewing functional structures and job descriptions, moving towards whole life asset-centric performance metrics at department and personal levels
• Are aligning the new Housing IT System with requirements of the SAMP.
