P4 Can we deliver affordable warmth?

Social landlords house five million low income families. Good practice and value for money is essential in tough economic times. Fuel poverty among tenants is a major concern. The real solution is improving the energy efficiency of existing stock to provide affordable warmth, which will also make a significant contribution to helping meet carbon reduction commitments. This session will explore:

* whether Government policy is helping social landlords deliver affordable warmth and reduce carbon emissions

* opportunities to incorporate energy efficiency improvements in business planning and asset management programmes

* meeting tenant expectations and delivering value for money.
