Internet of Things (IoT) technologies are starting to spread throughout the social housing sector. Led by connected boilers and smoke alarms, IoT can deliver numerous benefits from savings on maintenance bills to improving the lives of tenants. By integrating and simplifying a number of IoT technologies, social housing landlords are now able to make savings whilst meeting environmental targets and improving tenant services. This session explores some of homelync's recent IoT pilots results that have been conducted across local council housing stock in England and Scotland.
