The world of asset management is changing. There is increasing pressure to get more out of your assets, whether because of climate change or welfare reform impacts, or indeed providing for an ageing population. At the same time there are funding challenges of changed revenue streams for services and remodelling as well as emerging practices such as the relationship between active asset management and sustainable communities. Above all though it is critical to maintain quality homes and places. This session will give an overview of the emerging trends and challenges for social landlords and suggest some possible solutions.
