The NHMF Procurement Working Group
The NHMF Procurement Working Group has been formed from experts in the world of procurement to monitor, discuss and publicise changes to procurement in the UK, any emerging trends, and what they might mean for the future of the sector.
At the October Service Provider Forum meeting in Euston, David Miller (NHMF Frameworx), Lee Maskell (Faithorn Farrell Timms) and Richard Brooks (Anthony Collins Solicitors) announced that as the new Working Group, facilitated by Ben Virgo (M3) and Sonya Russell (Faithorn Farrell Timms), are developing a comprehensive user guide to the Procurement Act 2023, designed specifically for the sector. The aim being to create practical and easy to read guidance that works for both clients and contractors, large and small.
To do this the NHMF Procurement Working Group wants to ensure they are engaging with clients and contractors to make sure the guide is both user friendly and of benefit to them. A round table session is planned with a selection of members to take their input on the initial draft, with a deeper dive at the NHMF Conference. After final revisions, the official launch will coincide with the anniversary of the Procurement Act, in February next year.
We Need Your Input
The guide will only be truly useful if it reflects what you need. Whether you're a housing provider, contractor, or supplier, your practical experience of procurement challenges is invaluable.
Join our January conference sessions to help us ensure the guide addresses real-world issues for you and your organisations. This is your opportunity to shape a reference tool that will support the entire sector through significant legislative change.
