New arrangements for the operation of Primary Authority Partnerships were introduced from 1 October 2017.

What does this mean for existing partnerships?

Existing partnerships were encouraged to transition to the new arrangements so that they could still operate. Landlords in an existing partnership should have checked with their Primary Authority that they have been transitioned to the new arrangements.

How do social landlords use Primary Authority Partnerships?

Many social landlords use Primary Authority Partnerships for fire safety, for example Anchor Trust has partnered with the London Fire Brigade (see NMHF case study).
