The Contractor Forum was established in 2012 as the trade affiliation for contractors working in the field of social housing.
Our goal is to create closer working relationships between contractors, clients and sub-contractors and we work closely with the NHMF to promote best practice in the procurement and management of repairs.
For many years the NHMF has had at least one contractor represented on its committee to ensure that it understands fully the contractors' perspective when developing the M3NHF Schedule of Rates and related products. Contractors have also been involved in various training sessions and conferences in order to promote best practice.
The NHMF is keen to involve them at an earlier stage in the consultation process when developing the schedules and diagnostic systems that are now used by nearly all social housing providers.
Our members include a wide range of contractors, from household names to SMEs and specialist sub-contractors. The Forum is chaired by Mike Turner (Ian Williams) and Vice-Chair, Melissa Woodall (Wates Group). It is serviced by M3 who also service the NHMF.

The National Housing Maintenance Forum (NHMF) is an unincorporated trade body set up to represent organisations that are licensed users of the NHF Schedule of Rates (M3NHF Schedule of Rates) and related products
