Our opening plenary will explore the state of the social housing sector today and consider the key issues facing asset managers as we look to the future, including taking care of the workforce, sustainability goals and managing risk.
Join us for this session where we'll be asking whether data really can transform asset management and encouraging asset manager to use and source data more effectively to deliver projects more efficiently.
Data and information management has always been a key part of the Asset Manager’s role, but can thinking differently about how we approach, source and use data deliver real transformation?
At a time when well understood and accurate data is right at the fore this session will challenge how data and information has often been approached and compare this to emerging current and future needs.
Join us for this session covering the key points regarding government legislation and advice regarding external walls and fire safety reviews. The presentation will include a summary of the very latest guidelines from the MHCLG.
View Building safety advice for building owners, including fire doors.
Main focus will be the retrofitting of a social housing complex into the first renovated high-rise building worldwide that meets the passive house standard. The project was completed in 2011. Because of its location in a deprived area a special focus was put on social participation with the aim to increase tenant satisfaction and reduce anti-social behavior.
Other topics will be refurbishment with tenants staying on site during the works and tenant-owned kitchen equipment.
